MENKE Por-A-Stone Pads are the best pads for smear-free impressions when slick surface inks are required. The porous stone draws ink up from a felt reservoir below. The hard stone surface keeps stamps from being over inked. When the inking surfaces starts to dry out, simply flip the stone over for a fresh surface. 

 

Our stone pads work with most slick surface inks such as Mark II/#1250, ACMI #239 and others. Caution: do not use with thick or heavily pigmented inks; these will clog the stone. The No. 1 and No. 10 size pads are especially suited for use with inspection stamps.

Similar in most respects to the Justrite Opaque Stamp Pads which are no lonber available. Each “pad” consists of a pair of linen covered felt pads. When not in use the two surfaces are stacked on top of eachother to keep the inking surface from drying out. Use with most fast-dry inks for marking non-porous surfaces (ACMI #239, #2000 and others). These pads are sold in pairs, uninked only.

Unique double-sided stamping system for non-absorbent surfaces. The Mark II Stamp Pad is inked with 2 ounces of Aero #1250 fast drying ink. The dry time varies from 5 to 15 seconds depending on thickness of application and material being stamped. Inking surface of the pad measures 2-1/2 x 4". When the side being used begins to dry out, reverse the pad for a fresh inking surface. As with all solvent base fast-drying inks, use of reactivator to keep the inking surface fresh is highly recommended.
